An eminent ney player and highly accomplished musician in Iran, Davood Varzideh
studied with Master Hassan Nāheed and has collaborated with many well known musicians and vocalists in Iran. Previously a member of the great Master Faramarz Payvar´s ensemble, Davood has given performances both in Iran and festivals abroad. His ney brings a sacred and spiritual breathing sound to the Rumi Ensemble.
